Underground city

I think there is an underground city where Ethan and this followers live. Especially after tonight's episode.
The one with Sayid and Danielle.

She said the power comes from elsewhere, not the batteries and "they" controlled it. And the sounds Sayid hears in the jungle? I think they are coming from some sort of air venting system from underground. That would make them sound spooky like that. And Danielle heard the people, but didn't see them. That would explain that too. It would also possibly be the reason the compass doesn't work. Maybe an electro-magnetic source???

Any thought on this theory?

I don't know anything about electric magnetic energy but could that be a cause for the trees to move the way they do? An energy srge running underground?

So, how do you explain the polar bear, and Jack seeing his dead father, and the skeletons in the cave, and the monster, and....anything else?

It's a great theory, it just doesn't explain everything else...

Re: Underground city

I don't think the underground city theory was meant to explain everything.

There is a spoiler somewhere that explains the polar bears, which could also explain the skeletons.

or maybe the skeletons were people who didn't want to "join" the underground society.

As to Jack seeing his father and the monster? Well, who knows. I guess we will all just have to wait for some of the answers. That's what makes this show so fun!

All the things we can all think up, and finding out if we were right or wrong. It is like when you are watching a movie, and figure out a very difficult plot, makes you feel good.

This is just like a veeeeery long movie!

Gotta love that.
